YOU KNOW, i've thought about it and i've come to a conclusion that SA dance will be the best now and forever (: i mean like, so what if it's 'just a gold'? GWH this year is seriously overrated. if so many schools (7/17 jcs) could attain GWH, then seriously, does it prove anything anymore? 35% creativity- yea sure, if you count creativity as lifting up of skirts and what not. there WERE some really really extraordinary teams like HWACHONG (which i simply loved) who DESERVED a GWH (: i'm not judging anyone, but i think zaki's schools all did really well (: especially vj because they've come a long long way.
yesterday when we received the results in the dance studio, it was like NOTHING i've ever experienced. it was like our whole lives depended upon those results, and i'm sure we're proud of what we've achieved. i guess we've to learn how to stop comparing to other schools because.. AIYA i don't know why but I SHOULD STOP DOING THAT. i'm just SO SO SO SO SO PROUD OF THE DANCERS because i think we all put up a good fight and smiled our brightest smiles that day on stage. LIKE HELLO, we even moved people to tears! plus our turns were mostly on time and that's like WHOA (: we SHONE that day, and we OWNED the stage. if the judges didn't think so, then its really their problem. and its not anyone's fault because no one knew what they were looking for. maybe we're just flabbergasted at some of the results of other schools. it was EXCRUCIATING to see dancers with red eyes everywhere i walked yesterday. heartache to the maximum! i guess we'll be strong, and GOLD is just as good, if not better than whatever else.
this time, we didn't let anyone down. in zaki's own words, we 'made him look good' (: we knew we gave it our all and that's really what matters the most. we left the stage knowing that SA DANCERS totally rock. WHATEVER IT IS, we're good and we know it man!! ((: rapture's up next and we'll kick arse. show the world what we're made off and blow their minds/heads/bodies ((:
thank you God, thank you seniors, teachers!! they supported us like there was no tomorrow. should have heard the explosion when they called out our school's name (: it was just wayyyyyyyyyy wayyyy wayyy phenomenal (: even the school was so supportive! family (: XOXOXOXOXOXO to all the dancers (:
on another note, our geography team got through to the finals. SHUCKS. so )(*&^%$#$%^& pls!! (besides the $ part.. ahah).
