To NightMYSTERIOUS Night! when our first parent knew
Thee from report divine, and heard thy name,
Did he not tremble for this lovely frame,
This glorious canopy of light and blue?
Yet ’neath a curtain of translucent dew,
Bathed in the rays of the great setting flame,
Hesperus with the host of heaven came,
And lo! Creation widened in man’s view.
Who could have thought such darkness lay concealed
Within thy beams, O sun! or who could find,
Whilst fly and leaf and insect stood revealed,
That to such countless orbs thou mad’st us blind!
Why do we then shun death with anxious strife?
If Light can thus deceive, wherefore not Life?

did that poem for lit today and i think its a really nice poem ((: talks about how we have no reason to fear death because it may be as beautiful as life itself! (and sth about life being deceptive.. can't remember exactly :x)

miss k was rather hyper today! it was kinda funny. lit lecture was actually kinda fun ((:
my class people were such poor things today!! they had like five hours of lessons straight. i think i would have died if i were them.
SO DREADING TMRW COS ITS RUNNING (FOR PE), FOLLOWED BY MISS WEE THEN ZAKI. omg! how to survive man.
indra was so funny after finding her wallet which she found in class. ahahha she was like, ecstatic.
block test is in 21 days. like how freaky is that? considering that i havent started studying. plus a level results are coming out this friday! kinda worried for chinese and pw. ERGH i hate ORAL. bleahhh. the worst thing is that a few of the dancers won't be in school to collect our results?! like HOW? i want to be the first to know my results!!
had a really nice talk with someone that day (: felt really glad for that cos it was SUCH A SHITTY DAY.
dinner with the sevens last night was awesomeeeee ((: meeting up with them itself is like THE BOMB (: kinda wish we could see each other more. meetings are like almost IMPOSSIBLE because all schedules kinda clash. and sara's in US ): poor diane was so stressed out the entire time! and finally, she couldn't take it anymore and ditched us for her GP reading package. ahahah. some things never change!
