went bugis shopping with my sister today and spent a hell load of money!! hahha
THE SEVENS!! woah totally caused me to be BROKE. ahah they better love their presents : D
ON THE OTHER HAND, i'm really glad that all the christmas shopping's almost done : D but now, its back to homework. AND OH SHIT. I DID FRENCH MANICURE, AND NOW ITS ALL DESTROYED. ah hell i hate manicures. haha. plus that woman doing my sister's nails was so horrible and mean. BOO. she's a whore.
shall update on YE CAMP- fruits that last a bit first.
k la. i dont really know how to say, but i dont miss this camp as much as i missed the rest of the camps. maybe it was cos the camp comm wasnt really involved in the games and stuff.. but still! ahah. oh wells. i guess my expectations were too high. cos i really wanted this camp to be more of a spiritual camp! i felt that it lacked the focus that should have been on God and not the games.. yeaps.
roomies! kim and mel and connected to us were rachel, shu and grace :D i like our bunk! its really nice and the lighting's not bright! ahha shu hates it being so dark. i like soft lights. like those yellow lights.bright white lights make me feel so exposed. EEE. dont like! but yea there was a nymph in the toilet on the first night and i kept coming out and kim was kind enough to help me get rid of it! haha thanks a bunch kim : D and i was glad, cos we did talk about stuff on the second night (:
the food was generally alright, but i just cant forget the flies! they're huge and disgusting.
sessions were alright though i was really fidgety on the second day.. but yea. worship wasnt bad but i wish we had more of it. thankew God for touching me and allowing me to let go of things that i've held on to for so long ((: felt like ten tonnes of worries was lifted off me for second (: amazing isnt it! ((: ahha
games were absolutely terrifying. OMG. lets all hope it never happens again. war games was -_-' so many people got injured!! i was quite upset about that and yea. i guess some of them became really competitive and werent that nice.. the station games i suppose everybody had fun! just that i was super scared cos monkeys were coming after the flour and i had to chase like six of them away! thanks again to kim for accompanying me at the beginning. mel kept coming back from her game to help me out and thank goodness for that! i was losing my voice! ahhaa. and it was hilarious watching some of the campers. i still laugh when i think about it!! hahahah oh gosh! it was funny.. haha. water bomb mayhem was PAINFUL! got hit everywhere and my ear bled! and everyone targeted the camp comp and THE TWINS still had to cheek to exclaim 'AMANDA! WE HIT YOU FIRST!' hahah they're such monkeys!! PAINFUL OKAY.
then torture! woah it was damn scary cos from the two places that i was hiding, i could see all the people see me. SOMEHOW, they're so blind as to pass me by without even noticing me when some of them were staring right into my eye. haha I COULD HARDLY BREATHE when they poked their heads in the vcd room cos i was hiding behind the door! hahaah. it was damn funny to watch though. HAHAH. and gary's expression was HILARIOUS when he found me. never saw him so ecstatic in my life before! TORTURE itself was terrible. imagine how Jesus felt on the cross man! probably a million times worse and beyond! they (NAMELY, DAVID AND ONE OR BOTH OF THE TWINS AND SOME OTHER NAUGHTY BOYS) put a whole tube of colgate, medicated oil and flour on me. THEN, they proceeded to pour cold water on me! and i was almost dying cos my hands were already blue and numb from all the rain and the cold! so i gave up the first letter to them after the fourth bucket of cold water. daryl managed to guess it! clever boy (: so yea! that was HORRIBLE! my hair got really tangled!! ahha.
the waterfall was amazing beyond words and i just couldnt stop staring at it!! God's amazing creation. it was B E A U T I F U L. AHHH. i want to bring it back homee.. as much as i would miss the waterfall, i wouldnt miss the BUGS that were all around the camp site! haha. it was freaking a lot! playing in the waterfall was really fun though.mel almost got washed away!! scary shit.
YEAP SO THATS IT! camp wouldnt have been possible if it werent for my LOVELY CAMP COMM!! as well as aunty doris, aunty karfoon and the GROUP LEADERS who did an amazing job *cough cough* three musketeers that were late most of the time! you know who you are!! hahaha. and yea. glad that most of the campers had fun and good fellowship. i think we played way too much cards. we should have BANNED CARDS. tsk tsk.
